Meet the Therapist

Briona Richardson, TLMFT

Hi, I’m Briona

Whether you are navigating life’s challenges or juggling life’s blessings, if life is imbalanced, both can feel overwhelming.

As a born Libra and former ballet dancer, I believe in balance. A balanced life is a grounded life. Navigating life from your grounded/authentic self gives you the agility to recover from life’s challenges and make confident decisions to create the purposeful and fulfilling life you desire.

Imagine waking daily to a life where you get to decide. It is the most liberating and balanced of all.

In a safe and supportive environment, I provide a direct, multi-cultural approach. Whether you are seeking short or long term support, insight from your past or sunglasses for your bright future, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to well-being.

Outside of the office I enjoy time with my family, traveling, laughing and time alone.

FAQs

  • How many sessions until I see results?

Typically, clients begin to notice meaningful changes within 3 to 5 sessions. However, the pace of progress depends on a few factors, including your level of commitment to the process. The more actively you engage with the work—both in our sessions and through reflection and practice outside of them—the more likely you are to experience positive shifts. Every individual’s journey is unique, so we'll work together to ensure that your progress aligns with your goals and needs.

  • How do I get the most of of therapy?

The number one determining factor for best results from therapy is the client's belief in the process and in their ability to change. When you enter therapy with an open mind and a willingness to embrace growth, you're much more likely to see positive outcomes. Trusting in the process—along with active engagement and commitment—creates a strong foundation for meaningful, lasting change.
